In the midst of coronavirus concerns L.A. Region training office tells wants that all schools close
The Los Angeles County Office of Education has prescribed all schools in the area close, successful Monday, March 16, in the midst of progressing worries over the new coronavirus.
The area office, the biggest territorial training office in the country, on Friday, March 13, requested that all locale keep schools shut until March 27, as per an announcement from the office. Every nearby locale should settle on it's own choice about whether to close, something many have just picked to do.
“After much consideration, I am making the recommendation that school closure is the most appropriate step at this point in light of the crisis facing our communities and nation,” Debra Duardo, Los Angeles County director of schools, said in an announcement.
